Seed Technology and Business Graduate Program Short Courses
Seed Technology and Business (STB) faculty from Iowa State University (ISU), together with seed industry experts, have developed two continuing education opportunities designed for the seed industry professional. Hands-on demonstrations, case studies, discussion sessions, guest speakers, and local seed industry tours are all planned to be a part of this unique educational experience.
The STB Short Courses are held in the Seed Science Center (SSC) on the Iowa State University campus. The SSC houses the most comprehensive public seed testing laboratory in the world and is recognized globally as a leader in seed research and education.
Seed Science and Technology
This one-of-a-kind learning experience focuses on the lifecycle of seeds and current industry technologies. Hands-on demonstrations and industry tours help provide a clear picture of the many facets of the seed industry.
Seed Business Management
Future Dates: TBD
This detailed short course takes an in-depth look at how the seed industry functions from a business perspective. Case studies, special guest speakers, and networking opportunities highlight the week.
